2022 Systemizer Intro

Dear Friends,

I have attached the initial paperwork for your use.  It is very important that you read the Dear Friends letter before you gather your information.  This year will be a little different than other years, with a helpful guide, more questions, etc.  Please wait a day or two before you look at the website for the rest of the information www.nancyfeltz.com  I am still updating the rest of the information, however, you may certainly use the attached, if it is sufficient for your needs.  You can mix Packet pages with your own paper if that works for you, or just use your own method to submit your work to me.  However, as always, there are certain pages that Must be completed and returned to me.  You do not have to re-enter your address (unless it differs from what was shown on your last tax return).  “Same” is good to use in those instances.  Dates of birth and SS numbers should not be recorded if I already have this information from prior years.

Pay special attention to any correspondence from the IRS.  You may receive a letter informing you that your return will require the usage of the ID Pin that the IRS sends you.  Not many taxpayers will get this type of letter, but  I will not be able to file your returns if you receive such a letter but have not provided it to me.  Call me if you discarded any important information and we will let you know how to retrieve the info, if possible (This applies to the NJ 2019 Anchor application as well).

Important to note, I prefer that you do not send any information to the email if it contains your SS#, banking information, etc.  In these cases you can fax using a traditional fax machine, mail, drop off or send in a password-protected document to the email.  If you do mail your information, I suggest that you leave a message on our machine with the date mailed or let one of us know if we answer the phone.  Increased postage rates unfortunately did not necessarily mean increased efficiency.

If you wish to make an appointment, please call the office.  If you are only dropping it off, you can slip the envelope in our mail slot at Suite E.  It is large enough for most packages.  It is very convenient since you can drive right up to our door.  There is a sign on our door with our name, so you will be sure to put the information in the correct mail slot.  No need to even park your car if you are dropping off.  If you prefer to hand it to us, you should call first to make sure we are in.

As the season progresses and the workload increases, the turnaround time also increases.  Please understand that I treat all returns with the utmost care, whether the return is complex or not complex.

Sincerely, Nancy
